The Iowa Hawkeyes have an overall rating of 80 in EA Sports College Football 27.
Their rating dipped from last year's game, when they were an 82 overall.
The Hawkeyes' ratings at the time of the game's release are: Overall: 80, Defense: 78, Offense: 81.
Iowa is the 48th-highest-rated team overall, behind the likes of Vanderbilt, Pittsburgh and Colorado.
The Hawkeyes had three players in the top 140, with one cracking the top 10: Kade Pieper, center, with a 95 overall rating, Trevor Lauck, left tackle, with a 90 overall rating, and DJ Vonnahme, tight end, with an 88 overall rating.
Pieper and Lauck are the only two returning starters from last season's Joe Moore Award-winning offensive line.
Vonnahme appeared in 12 games in 2025, totaling 29 receptions for 434 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Former Iowa punter Rhys Dakin is rated an 84 overall and ranks as the No. 130 player in the game.
The Hawkeyes will face Northern Illinois Huskies on 2026-09-05.
The team will look to improve their rating with their upcoming game.
And with their top players leading the way, they have a good chance of winning.
But they will need to work on their defense to compete with the top teams.
So the Hawkeyes will need to come out strong in their next game.
The game will be available on July 9 for $69.99, with early preorder access available beginning July 2.
